Paul came on the 4th February 2014 to deliver his talk on wildlife photography, from a personal perspective. He also showed us a range of his work, taken before he joined a photographic club and those taken after he joined one and the way it has altered his approach since. He admitted to making mistakes but sees them as an opportunity to learn. I totally agree with that sentiment.
Paul illustrated the importance of knowing your camera and how to use it appropriately and quickly, otherwise you lose ‘the shot’. He also talked about and showed us the equipment he uses in the field, which mainly means on safari. Specific reference was made to:-

We were also able to see a full range of the images Paul has taken on his travels to exotic places, particularly Africa.
