Colleen Slater is a fully qualified and experienced teacher with a BA degree in fine art and a postgraduate Art Teacher’s Certificate. She is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and has been working full-time as a photographer since 2006. Her particular interest is macro photography and her images hope to draw attention to the ordinary, often unnoticed, things in the everyday world which appear extraordinary and sometimes unworldly when seen through a macro lens.
Colleen’s relaxed, friendly, enthusiastic style and ability to communicate clearly, whatever your level of capability, technical knowledge or experience, should make for an enjoyable and informative session.
She will also be letting us know how she took her photographs, from equipment, camera settings, lighting and focusing to composition and post processing.
