Horsham Photographic Society has secured an online speaker, and we would like to share this Zoom talk with you. Jeff Hutchinson is a fine Horsham photographer, often funny, usually provocative, never boring. Like many good photographers, his work is not easy to categorise, but he has had images accepted for the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize and the Royal Photographic Society touring print exhibition, and is one of few photographers to have work exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. He studied with Paul Hill MBE at De Montfort University where he gained an MA in photography. Jeff’s passion is obvious and he speaks with knowledge about the craft and art of the photograph, and those who have practiced it. Tonight he will take us through his life as a photographer from the time he joined Horsham Photographic Society and was mentored by two members, the Streeter Brothers who set him on the road to his considerable accomplishments. He should inspire all of us, showing what can be achieved by regular photographic club members who are prepared to challenge themselves. |
